SENIOR ICT TECHNICIAN
Salary: SC6 £27,852 – £29,439
Contract: Full-time 37 hours per week. 25 days holiday per year (outside of term time)

Purpose of Job
To assist in the day-to-day running and support of the school network and interactive learning equipment, by monitoring and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner with the provision, maintenance and of high quality and professional ICT support to all staff and pupils within St Egwin’s.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide ICT technical support and user guidance to staff, governors, pupils and parents/carers responding to queries and ensuring they are managed in line with expectations
- Support the School Business Manager with premises and Health & Safety
- To assist with the maintenance of the ICT room and equipment throughout the school and ensuring that the ICT software/hardware inventories are up to date
- Manage own workload and that of the ICT Technician
- To lead the installation, configuration and the maintenance (including remedial repairs and upgrades to a variety of ICT equipment as and when required) of the school’s ICT network infrastructure, software, systems, associated services and all types of ICT equipment
- Troubleshoot, update and maintain Computers, Laptops, Devices and Computer peripherals such as AV equipment and printers
- To work closely with the school’s Senior Leadership, Business Manager, ICT Technician, staff, students and suppliers to successfully achieve school development goals pertaining to the role including proactively planning the future ICT needs of the school with procurement of hardware, software and technical assistance
