We are delighted to share that St Egwin’s has taken part in the Worcester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival 2021. Many parents and carers will already be aware of it due to the scramble for boxes of all shapes and sizes that were required to help us fulfil this ambitious Endeavour!

Mrs Davies surpassed all our expectations once more with this latest art project that involved all our pupils.

To make our tree unique, each pupil made a part of the tree by creating a box that represents one of our school values: Year 6 - Love, Year 7 - Respect and Year 8 -Endeavour.

Mrs Davies said:

“Over the last four weeks, it has been wonderful to see the St Egwin's pupils bring in their Christmas values box and to see how creative they have been with the project.

This week I have had the lovely task of creating our St Egwin's Christmas tree in Worcester Cathedral.

Overall, 75 pupils' work was selected to form the tree, which now proudly stands in the cloisters of Worcester Cathedral.”

It is free to visit the cathedral and no tickets are required before the 4th of December 2021. From the 4th, you will need to book a free ticket using the website -

The remaining boxes will be used to create several Christmas trees around our school over the festive period.

A huge amount of effort has gone into creating our tree and we are so proud of all the pupils and staff who contributed.
