Due to increasing numbers of positive tests, if your child has any symptoms of COVID-19 (Including flu-like symptoms), please carry out an LFT test at home. If this is negative but symptoms persist (NOT ONLY the main 3 symptoms of temperature, new and persistent cough, loss of taste/smell) please book a PCR test and keep them off school.
At 11am on the 11th of November pupils and staff gathered on the front yard to pay their respects to the fallen service men and women of our country. Poems and prayers were read by our Senior Teachers Mr Wood and Ms Gordon. Mr Stones (Music) played ‘The Last Post’ to solemnly mark the occasion. Each pupil held a lantern.
The Lantern Remembrance Project was devised by our very own Mrs Davies (Art) and all our pupils were involved. At 11am every pupil held their lantern which became their focal point for remembrance during the two minutes silence.
Mrs Davies then created a light installation with many of the jars; the result was beautiful.
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come, your will be done,
On Earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
Now and for ever.
