Home Supporting Families
We aim to support families as soon as a problem appears, to stop it from getting worse. This could be at any point of a child’s life; from birth to the teenage years. At St Egwin's we believe that early intervention for children or families, in many cases, will prevent children from experiencing harm and reaching crisis. Please look through our Wellbeing and Safeguarding information below to see how we can support you and your child/children during their time at St Egwin's
Supporting Families at St Egwin's (Previously known as Early Help)
At St Egwin's we are aware of the many challenges that our students face academically, emotionally and socially.
We are committed to supporting our students every step of the way through their journey at St Egwin's.
Our pastoral system offers a wide variety of internal support for our students and we have many external links to other agencies to which students and parents/carers can be signposted.
The initial contact for students will be their Form Tutor and/or the Head of Year. They can offer support and guidance for any issues and if necessary can refer or signpost them to further support packages/resources.
All of these services are available to our students and parents. Please follow the link below to read about our Wellbeing support.
